Thoughts on the D&D 2024 Beholder
- The new antimagic cone much better. It gives the characters a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" choice.
- Pair up your beholder with blindsight and tremorsense creatures (Ankheg, helmed horrors, hook horrors, umber hulks). This way if the beholder gets obscured, the blindsight creatures get advantage.
- Choose your eyes if you want. Choose your targets even with random eyes.
- Modify hit points if you want, add more legendary actions for more characters.
